Hi all! We’ve received three reports of 500 internal errors during fine-tuning. It looks like the issue might be related to missing
s3:PutObject
permissions for the backend IAM user, which prevents uploading the request payload to S3.
h
when did you try it? did you just try it?
y
Yes, I tried now
h
ah, i think i just fixed a permission issue
but good to know it works no problem now
let's respond to the customer let them try again to see if we resolved their issue?
y
Sure! Let me respond. I was using cross-validation and finetuned in the morning, but I also didn’t see any error though
h
oh, i see, but ask them to retry

Which customer or customers is that?
y
It’s Carlos Bussieres and Adela Maria Meza Raudales The error is fixed now
m
And are they paying?
y
No they’re not paying
m
Ok. Are they potential enterprise customers?
What do they need fine tuning for ?
y
Carlos has been using TimeGPT for traffic volume forecasting, but since he’s affiliated with a university, he may not be a lead. Regarding Adela, I saw @Rick Vierra has already spoken with her—might be a good time to follow up?

I did talk with Adela couple months ago. No responses since then to outreach. No real indication they were willing to pay for TimeGPT even at the $25k level. I just sent another note to see if Adela is interested in getting licensing in place. Thanks!
