We got a question about nixtlar and the Excel plugin from ccook@mayzo.com at 11:30am Pacific. This could be two separate Excel and nixtlar issues, or related to the recent updates last night? @Edu @José Morales @Mariana Menchero do you have thoughts? Thanks so much!

API calls failing with 405 code in R nixtlar package and with "network error" in excel plug-in

Using the nixtlar package in R results in a HTTP 405 Method Not Allowed error. Just two days ago, the package and API calls were working well. The package version is from CRAN V 0.5.2 and I read that API version 0.6 has been released.

I also tested the Excel TimeGPT plug-in, however this plug-in shows "network error" when using the "make prediction".

Have the APIs changed with V0.6 and made the earlier API versions obsolete?

Any troubleshooting tips?

oh maybe the update to the middleware is causing problems in excel too, I'll look into it

Hi @Tracy Teal very sorry for the time, but I wanted to let you know that the v2 version is on this branch. I couldn't merged to main because I'm having issues with validating the API key, but hopefully I'll figure it out by Monday.
