A question from the OpenBB folks about multiple time series. Is that something we already have in the development version? Probably another one for @José Morales. Thank you again!
Hi Nixla team,
We have previously integrated with Nixtla Time GPT model into OpenBB Terminal Pro. Our customers find this feature very helpful and would like to expand the use case into predicting multiple time series at once.
If you could provide us with an endpoint for this, that would be great.

Not Capi 😅 but we already do this. Maybe they got the old enpoint? This is what nixtlar uses for multiple series: https://api.nixtla.io/forecast_multi_series
but better wait for Capi to confirm because maybe OpenBB uses a special endpoint.
t
Thanks! I can at least ask them what endpoint they're using. So, I'll start there.

I don't know what they do but they're most likely using the single series endpoint, so they should look at the one Mariana provided
m
Thank you. They're the open source Bloomberg terminal. If they have the single series endpoint, they might have the old endpoints. Here are the new ones:

@Mariana Menchero should we document this somewhere external? Is this information it's ok for everyone to have? Or something we just want to keep track of internally?
m
You know @Tracy Teal I'm... not sure 😅 Anyone that goes deep into the code of nixtlar can see the endpoints. Maybe yes for security reasons so that no one spams it with requests? I think this is a question for @kevin. If the endpoints are supposed to be hidden, please let me know.
t
Thanks, I'll talk with Kevin about this today.
@kevin doesn't see any issue. So, I think it's just about whether we want people to know about these without needing to ask or not. I don't have a strong opinion one way or another.

All endpoints are documented here along with their schemas and some examples

slight out of topic here, but our docs look great. It'd be cool to change the looks of dashboard.nixtla.io to match this style, both for cohesion and aesthetics
t
They're similar now, but I really like that idea of a consistent look and feel.
