My name is Jefferson Fialho, and I am a master's student at the Escola Politécnica of the Universidade de São Paulo (Poli/USP) in collaboration with the Center for Artificial Intelligence (C4AI). Our research team is currently focused on forecasting oceanographic variables to predict events such as storm surges and potential impacts on offshore platforms.

As part of our ongoing research, we are investigating graph-based models for multivariate time series forecasting. We believe that using TimeGPT as a benchmark would significantly benefit our research and contribute to our efforts in knowledge distillation for model improvement.
