Hello! I just got invited to the Open Data Science Conference for a virtual event focused on time series on March 13th. They want a 30-min talk "focusing on key concepts, research findings, or industry applications." Seems pretty broad. They specify that: "The session must not be a sales/product pitch or used as an opportunity to promote a specific product, service, company, or organization unless explicitly approved by ODSC in writing. ODSC reserves the right to reject, interrupt, or cancel any session or workshop that violates this term." Is it okay if I participate? Anything in particular I should cover or not cover in that kind of session? @Mariana Menchero, you have experience with that, I might ask you a lot of questions ๐Ÿ˜„

I'm happy to help @Marco but this is funny because you were the one who (indirectly) helped me with my presentation for the workshop ๐Ÿ˜…
Since they donโ€™t want it to be sales pitch, I would focus on foundations models in general and the transformer architecture (basically Chapters 1 and 3 from your book). That plus an example showing the functionality of TimeGPT should cover the 30mins.

Nice, thanks for the tips!

And optionally you can try to do an example using timegpt and vaguely mention that is easiers tu use, faster and more accurate
